Cyprus has recorded another death in the past 24 hours bringing the total of deaths due to SARS-CoV-2 to 22 and of them directly to COVID-19 to 16.
Meanwhile, Professor, of Microbiology/Molecular Virology at the University of Nicosia Mr. Petros Karayianis , says that this week is crucial because it will be seen if the easing of the restriction measures will result in the increase of coronavirus cases.
He says that the situation will be alarming if the cases exceed the 35 daily.
