The Coalition's promised tax refund for low and middle income earners, which was planned to come into effect this July, looks set to be delayed. The time period by which it will be delayed is unclear, but it could be up to 12 months. The tax cut of up to $1,080 was one of the centrepiece promises of the coalition's 2018/19 federal budget.
