The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in Melbourne is organising the Orthodox Christmas Carols for the 35th year in a row. The anniversary coincides with Bishop Iezekiel's presence in Victoria.

Speaking to SBS Greek he expressed his gratitude for being able to serve the faithful in Melbourne for 35 years. He spoke about the importance of keeping the traditions alive, together with the language and the Christian faith.

Bishop Iezekiel took the initiative to celebrate Kalanta with a special event every year a few days before Christmas.

The event is free and open to everyone regardless of religion or ethnicity. This year it takes place at the Melbourne Town Hall on Sunday the 23rd of December at 5pm.
