Panos Georgiou, who had worked as journalist for many Greek-Australian media, passed away yesterday in Melbourne.

He was 79 years old. For many years he was battling the Parkinson’s disease. Among the media he had worked was SBS and its Greek program.

During the ‘90s’ he was a sports contributor.
