PAOK and AEK have gained the advantage to progress to the final of the Greek Cup, after their wins in the first games of the semi-finals.
PAOK defeated Asteras Tripolis 2-0 in Thessaloniki and AEK overcame with the same score Lamia’s resistance at Athens’ Olympic Stadium.
In Cyprus, also for the semi-finals APOEL beat 1-0 Paralmini, and in the Lemesos Derby, AEL snatched an away victory 2-1 from Apollon.
In Australia for the NSW Premier League Sydney Olympic triumphed last night at mount Druitt with 6-2 over the local Rangers. The game was for the second round of the Competition. Olympic stand now third on the ladder with seven points.
In Basketball and for the European Champions League, AEK defeated Bamberg 69-67, but failed to progress to the Final Four as the German team had won in the first game with four points difference.
