Thousands of people are expected to attend today the “Let’s Go Greek Festival- Parramatta”, which is in its 6th year.
It is organised by the local Greek Orthodox Parish and Community of St John, Parramatta and District.
The festivities will run till around 6 p.m. and the official opening will be at approximately 1.30 p.m., most likely, by the Greek-Orthodox Archbishop Mr. Makarios. We have been informed that NSW Minister for Multicultural Affairs Mr John Sidoti will attend and confirm the governments contribution to the festival in the amount of $200.000 over the next fours years.
SBS Greek will be there to broadcast live in our program 4-6 p.m.
