Penny Marathon, the campaign for stray animals grows

Penny Marathon initiative of a Greek Australian woman in 2012, is believed to be the only marathon for stray animals all over the world.

From Athens, the Penny Marathon has expanded to other cities in Greece and Australia and aspires to become a global campaign.

Katerina Papoutsoglou, who is responsible for organising the event in the city of Kalamata, spoke SBS Greek, highlighting the goals of this effort.
