Despite losing some of its support, Labor Party has kept its lead over the Coalition in a tightening race for the May 18 election.
Two new poll showing that Labor Party leading over the Coalition by 52 to 48 per cent in two-party terms, in a tightening race for the May 18 election.
According to the Newspoll figures released in The Australian, the two-party preferred split showed Labor in the lead with 51 per cent, and 49 per cent for the Coalition.
However, in the latest Ipsos poll, Labor's lead over the coalition reduced by one point to 52-48, compared to 53-47 in the previous poll.
