Needing to avoid a heavy defeat to secure their first Japanese title in 15 years, Yokohama wrapped up the championship in style with a 3-0 win over nearest rivals FC Tokyo.
The victory, secured despite going down to 10 men in the second half, means Yokohama finished six points clear at the top of the J1 league.
