Pressure is building on senator Sam Dastyari to quit

Labor Senator Sam Dastyari has denied reports he pressured a colleague not to meet with pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong. Fairfax Media reports three sources claim Mr Dastyari lobbied Tanya Plibersek not to hold talks with academic Joseph Cheng Yu-shek, who is a critic of China's influence in Hong Kong.
