Since 2012 following the first wave of immigration to Australia, as a consequence of the economic crisis in Greece, PRONIA helps and supports returning citizens and newly-arrived Greek people with culturally and linguistically appropriate services.The services were expanded and reorganized in 2015 with funding from the State Government and the establishment of the four-year program "Provide Settlement Services for People Newly Arrived from Greece" aiming to assist such migrants facing migration and adjustment issues.Konstantina Kouroutsidou Community Settlement Services Officer and Social Educator of PRONIA spoke to Sotiris Hatzimanolis about the services provided to newly arrived Greeks.
