As descendant of refugees, Nikos Kalaitzis, who has dedicated his life to the Memory of Micra Asia, gave AEK soil, stones and water from the Lost Homes for the "walls" of its new stadium from Agia Sophia.

81-year-old Nikos Kalaitzis gave the new stadium of AEK, soil from Meli of Micra Asia, a village from where his parents were expelled in 1922.

"We gave the soil for the foundation of the stadium, so that neither we nor the next generations could ever forget," said to SBS Greek Mr. Kalaitzis.
