Scott Morrison has come under fire for his comments about the march4justice rallies across Australia saying that they were not 'met with bullets'.

The prime minister was speaking in parliament yesterday after the march4justice rallies against gendered violence.

The events attracted hundreds of thousands of women and men around Australia.

Mr Morrison said similar events elsewhere were met "with bullets".
