Author Andreas Karkavitsas loved to write about the sea, the seafarers, the sponge divers. Generations grew up with his stories. In this short story he describes a shipwreck and its impact on those who were left behind.


The story "Shipwrecks" belongs to one of the most popular collections of short stories in Greek literature "Words of the prow" by Andreas Karkavitsas, novelist and short- story writer. He also penned the novel "The beggar".
