The Socceroos have made the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time since 2006.

After the draw against Croatia for the knockout stage of the World Cup in Germany, another golden page has been added to the history book of Australian football.

The national team managed a 1-0 victory over Denmark, qualifying for the World Cup round of 16 for the first time since 2006, despite Tunisia's surprise 1-0 win over France.
