PAOK and Panathinaikos had to fight hard to secure wins against their opponents and keep their respective position on the ladder.
PAOK managed to overcome the deficit against Volos in Salonica whilst Panathinaikos, contrary to what the score may say, was playing mostly as a visitor against Larisa, even though his was at his home ground in Leoforos.
