St. Tsitsipas hits Top 5 for the first time in his career

Though Stefanos Tsitsipas lost in the semi-finals of the tournament last week in Washington he clinched another huge milestone for himself and for Greece this week.

Though Stefanos Tsitsipas lost in the semi-finals of the tournament last week in Washington he clinched another huge milestone for himself and for Greece this week.


He was already Greece’s first ever player to reach the Top 10. Now he made further history by climbing to the 5th position from 6th which he was holding previously.

Among the winners in the Rankings this weeks, is Nick Kyrgios, who, after winning the title in Washington, has moved from 52nd to the 27th Position.

PAOK and APOEL Nicosia play in the 3rd qualifying round

The champions of Greece and Cyprus, are hosting tomorrow morning (Austral;ian time) Holland’s Ajax and Azerbaijan’s Qarabag, in their first matches for the 3rd Qualifying round to the European Champions League.

Olympiakos plays Thursday morning in Constantinople against Basaksehir.
