Stefanos Tsitsipas beats Auger-Aliassime and remains Marseille Open champion

Stefanos Tsistsipas for the first time in his career made a back to back wining titles. He beat 2-0 sets (6-3, 6-4)Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime to win the Marseille Open for the second time in a row.


“It is great to be fighting ion  be fighting on the court against you,” Tsitsipas said of his opponent at the trophy presentation. “I feel like you make me a better player and I hope I make you too.”

Tsitsipas won 78% of his first serve points and finished the tournament without dropping a set.

The last player that had won back-to-back trophies in this tournament was Sweden’s Thomas Enqvist in 1997-98.
