This year, Mr. Georganas completes 12 years of service as an MP for the Labor Party. Up until now, he represented the seat of Hindmarsh in Adelaide. This year, due to changes to the borders of his electoral district, he will instead claim the seat of Adelaide, again on behalf of Labor.

What are the major topics for Labor’s voters

Mr. Georganas said his party would give priority to three areas. Stagnation of wages, health and education.

The candidates in the seat of Adelaide are:

Shaun Osborn - Liberal Party

Barbara Pocock - The Greens

Antonio Rea - United Australia Party
