Sydney FC has won a record breaking 5th A League title after beating 1-0 Melbourne City at extra time, in the Grand Final played last night at Western Sydney Stadium, Parramatta.
The goal was scored in the 100th minute by fullback Rhyan Grant. Kosta Barbarouses played almost the full game. He was replaced on the 87’ minute.
This was the second championship for Sydney FC in a row and the club is regarded as the most successful in the 43 years that Australia has a national league (NSL was the predecessor to A League).
