Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition leader Bill Shorten have engaged in their first leaders' debate of the federal election campaign.
The two leaders were in Perth for the debate hosted by the Seven Network and The West Australian newspaper, with the 48 undecided audience voters giving the debate to the Labor leader.
The topic of climate change caused friction between the two leaders, with Prime Minister Scott Morrison calling on the opposition leader to outline how much his policy will cost.
