Taxi operates are planning protests and legal action following the Victorian government's plans to legalise ride sharing. Nick Badounas says his family is one of many Greek-Australian families that are threatened with financial ruin following the recent announcements. The government's taxi licence buy-back scheme would pay $100,000 for a single licence and $50,000 for a second licence. Mr Badounas told Sotiris Hatzimanolis it's an inadequate compensation.
