The residents of Yass, have been without a mental health Councillor for months. The town's teachers try to help the younger people who require mental health support, but they lack the skills needed.

Yass is roughly 60 kilometers northwest of Canberra. For months now, the residents of the town have been waiting for the arrival of a mental health expert.

The town's teaching stuff are trying to fill the gap and help the town's younger population but they do not possess the necessary training.

Some young people turn to other residents for help, who give them a place to stay or send them to see specialists in Canberra or Goulburn.
