After months of speculation about her life post-politics, former foreign minister Julie Bishop announced as new chairwoman of the Telethon Kids Institute.
Ms Bishop is announced as the new chairwoman of the Telethon Kids Institute, one of Australia’s biggest child health research hubs, which is based in Perth.
The role is the first the former deputy Liberal leader has taken up since retiring as the MP for Curtin last month.
