Greek Australian Barrister, Jacob Fronistas, has served in various positions the greek community, while for 39 years he has been a volunteer of the Fronditha Care,  which provides care services for the elderly.

In 2006, he received an Order of Australia medal (OAM), for his voluntary work in the Greek community, specifically in aged care.
