The Greek island of Kythera which is also known as Tsirigo has a lot of hidden archaeological treasures despite its isolation from the rest of the various groups of Greek islands.
Ms Lita Tzortzopoulos-Gregory is an archaeologist and member of the Australian Archaeological Institute of Athens. She is giving an interesting lecture about the island of Kythera and the latest archaeological findings there on Thursday 23 November 2017 at the University of Sydney, in room 480 of the Madsen Building (close to City Rd) at 6.30pm. Everyone is welcomed and the entry is free. Ms Tzortzopoulos-Gregory speaks from Athens a few days before she arrives in Sydney to Dimitrios Kametopoulos about Kythera and its archeologically treasures!
