Distinguished Greek-Australian, Alfred Kouris, who changed the face of Melbourne passed away at age of 89.Veteran broadcaster, Rena Frangioudakis, who knew Alfred Kouris for more than 50 years described him as a philanthropist, patriot, community leader and visionary, educator, playwright, journalist, author, businessman, builder, clothing-manufacturer and retailer.
