Thousands attended the Australian War Memorial in Australia’s capital this past Thursday, honoring the memory of Australia’s fallen soldiers.

The Greek presence was not missing from the event, with representatives of the Lemnos Community marching while holding the national flags of Greece and Cyprus. The Ambassador of Greece to Australia, Ekaterini Xagoraki attended the event, as did the Deputy Head of the High Commission of Cyprus to Australia, Vakis Zissimos.
