Georgia and Turkey, two countries with a significant Greek presence throughout history.

Relations between Greece and Georgia began when Jason and the Argonauts started their quest for the Golden Fleece. The bonds between the two nations have flourished beyond the myth and are still evolving.

Turkey has been an integral part of the Greek history.

Greeks have been continuously living in Turkey  for over 3000 years and have established many big cities such as Ephesus, Miletus and Byzantium (Istanbul). While communications between the two countries could have been better, thousands of Greeks in Turkey still preserve their ethnic identity, culture and religious faith.
