The High Commission of Cyprus to Australia celebrated the 59th anniversary since Cyprus’s independence.


The High Commission held an event to celebrate the occasion on Wednesdays 2 of October. One day after the official anniversary.

The event attended several head of diplomatic missions to Australia, including Greece’s Ambassador Mrs Ekaterini Xagoraki, as well as former Australian Ambassador to Greece, Kate Logan.

In addition, at the event were also members from various communities such as the Cypriot Community of Canberra and the Greek Community of Canberra.
