It was July 4, 2004, when the National Greek soccer team, which until that magical European Summer had nothing remarkable to proud of, reached the top of European football.
It was just the second appearance of the greek soccer team in the finals of Euro, and the first after 24 years.
It was also the country’s first appearance in a major event, since the painful 1994 World Cup experience.
MVP Thodoris Zagorakis, Traianos Dellas, Antonis Nikopolidis and Giorgos Karagounis, share with us the thoughts about this historical moment.
