On a bitterly cold Christmas Day, in the middle of a family feast, a stranger appears out of nowhere. He looks like a beggar, avoids conversation and gulps down the food and drink the family offered to him in the spirit of Christmas. Suddenly, gun shots are heard and as everyone rushes out to see what is happening, a big commotion is clearly seen in the nearby fort that houses a prison. Like a shadow, the stranger disappears just as it was getting ready to snow.
