Within the framework of our series "We Speak Greek in March", which aims at stimulating the Greek language in Australia, we are currently examining the transnationality of the Greek language.


Thus, extended our invitation to Professor Giorgos Kanarakis, who has dealt extensively and thoroughly with the subject. Professor Kanarakis has published two volumes in Greek and English: "The diachronic contribution of Greek to other languages" and "The Legacy of the Greek Language".

Professor Kanarakis discusses with Themi Kallos and answers the question of how the Greek language has influenced and significantly enriched other languages, especially in Europe.
