Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas revealed the ingredients for the 'Tsitsipas Souvlaki'.

The Greek tennis player accepted the invitation from an established Greek restaurant in Melbourne to name the ingredients for the 'Tsitsipas Souvlaki'.

These are the following: Lamb, potatoes, tomatoes, tzatziki, pomegranate and basil.

SBS Greek spoke to the restaurant's manager Nicole Papasavvas, who confirmed that she expects Tsitsipas to officially announce the ingredients for the so-called 'Tsitsipas Souvlaki'.

Back in 2006, Greek Cypriot tennis legend Marcos Baghdatis had reached the Australian Open final defeating some of the great tennis players of that era, before losing to Roger Federer in the final. The restaurant created a special dish for him.

Prior to his participation to this year's Australian Open, Tsitsipas has stated that he liked the idea to have the opportunity (and the honor) to do the same.
