Thousands of people took part in an nude installation on Sydney's Bondi Beach to raise awareness of skin cancer.

Thousands of nude swimmers were on early Saturday morning at Sydney's Bondi Beach, with artist and photographer Spencer Tunick on hand to capture the images.

The activity was aimed at raising awareness of skin cancer, which is one of the leading causes of death in Australia.
