Three men have faced a Melbourne court charged with planning a terror attack. Dina Gerolymou and Themis Kallos discuss the story.


Twenty one-year-old Hanifi Halis, and brothers Samed Eriklioglu, 26 years of age and 30-year-old Ertunc Eriklioglu, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court today (Tuesday) following their arrests during a series of raids across northern Melbourne during the early hours.

The trio has each been charged with one count of act in preparation for, or planning of terrorist acts and were remanded in custody to next face court in April for a committal mention.
