Tottenham Spurs surged back from two goals down to defeat Olympiacos 4-2 and reach the last “16” of the European Champions league.

The Greek team had a wonderful start, when in the 19th minute they were ahead 2-0. However, the game team managed to reduce the deficit in the dying minutes of the first half and with three goals in the second to score a major win. Thus, avoiding a humiliating defeat.

This was the first home tame for coach  Jose Mourinho since he took the helm at Tottenham last week.

In the other group’s game, Bayern Munich had no opposition in Belgrade, defeating Red Star 6-0.

Bayern and Tottenham go through to the next phase of the Champions league. The third spot, which gives qualification to the round of “32” of the Europa league, will be decided at the  6th round of the group stage, between Olympiacos and Red Star.
