Listen to the story of a brother and sister who became stars. Narrated by Dina Gerolymou.

Have you ever thought that the stars have stories to tell? Well, they actually do, and not just today but from ancient times. In this folk story we hear about a beautiful girl, Poulia and her little brother Avgerino who were bound by a deep love. They had the same father but different mothers.

Poulia's mother died and her father married another woman who gave birth to a baby boy, Avgerino. She didn't like Poulia and wanted to sell her at the slave market but Avgerinos found out his mother's plans and told Poulia. The two of them left together but the mother cursed Avgerino for betraying her. He was turned into a sheep. Poulia protected him as much as she could but luck was not on their side. After many trials they became stars to escape this world and be forever together.
