Greece was outeaten 3-0 by the Australian team for the ATP Cup’s group stage in Brisbane.
However the main point of talk was Stefanos Tsitsipas’ reaction when lost the first set against Nik Kyrgios (who prevailed 2-1 sets)
The Greek champion angrily smashed his racket into his bench , in frustration for he loss. However the frame of the racquet broke into pieces and one of them hit the hand of his father and coach, Apostolos, leaving him bleeding.
His mother Julia stepped in lashing against her son’s behaviour.
In the other matches Michail Pervolarakis went down 2-1ses to John Millman and in the doubles Petros Tsitsipas and Markos Kalovelonis lost 2-0 to Chris Guccione and John Peers.
