Stefanos Tsitsipas beat 2-1 sets Novak Djokovic in the Shanghai Masters and his victory has dealt a blow to the hopes of the Serb ending the year as World number 1.
The Greek champion plays again tonight (7.30 p.m. AEDT) in the semi-finals against Russia’s Daniil Medvedev.
With his win, Tsitsipas secured his debut appearance at next’ month’s ATP Finals.
