Greece and Cyprus have assumed a strict stance against Turkeys activities in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Speaking before nation leaders and officials from the European Union and the Arab countries, Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that Greece cannot carry the weight of 3 continents on its shoulders. He noted that the problem of the refugee flows should be dealt at its cause, by fighting the illegal networks who transport refuges and by addressing the circumstances that create these refugees in the first place.

The Greek Prime Minister also sent a strict message to Turkey, regarding the country’s activities in East Mediterranean.

''Turkey should refrain from charging any further the fragile area of Easters Mediterranean. I am referring to its actions regarding Cyprus’s EEZ as well its behavior in the Aegean Sea,'' said the Greek PM.
