The restriction will be enforced on all non-essential travel between the two countries. Canadian PM, Justin Trudeau, noted that supply chains between the two countries and trade will continue to function normally.

The governments of the United States and Canada announced they will be closing the borders between their countries in an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus.
