Speaking to SBS Greek Evangelos Arabatzis said that the new play is an improvised monologue that allows for introspection and search for meaning.
Issues of identity, relationships, sexuality and belonging underpin the performances of Vangelis Unleashed! which run from the 18th to the 21st of June at the Butterfly Club in Melbourne's CBD.
Speaking to SBS Greek E. Arabatzis said Vangelis Unleashed is the culmination of three previous shows.
"Every single one of them have been improvised as this one is as well and with every show I found little bits and pieces and things that I've needed to express further and I've continued to build on them. And now I have a stronger sense of what it is that I need to communicate to the audience. And so, there is a sense that this particular show, there will be some sort of unleashing".
He says that the performances combining many elements to make his on stage exploration entertaining and exciting.
E.Arabatzis said that feeling "naked and vulnerable" on stage is a risk willing to take as this round of performances pushes the boundaries for both the performer and the audience.
"It is definitely a risk I am willing to take" he says.
