Victoria records 148 new coronavirus cases and eight deaths as downward trend continues

Victoria has recorded a further eight deaths and 148 new coronavirus cases overnight.


Victoria has recorded 148 new cases of coronavirus and eight more deaths, taking the state's death toll to 438 and the national figure to 525.

Tuesday's numbers continue the declining trend of new infections, with the state recording less than 200 daily cases on four of the five days.
