"We are at war. With an enemy who is invisible, but not invincible," the Greek PM, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, said on Tuesday in a state address.

Mitsotakis reiterated that members of the public should remain at home. Promising measures to support businesses, he urged them not to fire workers.

Mr Mitsotakis announced a package of 2.2 billion euros to support businesses following the coronavirus outbreak.

Greece has reported 387 cases of COVID-19, including five deaths.
