The Cyprus Coordinating committee (SEKA Victoria) is organising a series of events to show support for human rights in Cyprus following the illegal invasion of the island by Turkey in July 1974 and the continued occupation of the island since then. SEKA Victoria President talks to SBS Greek.

Candlelight vigil at the steps of the Victorian Parliament House, in protest against the invasion and illegal occupation of 37% of Cyprus by Turkish Troops.

Australian Hellenic Memorial: Wreath laying ceremony at the Australian Hellenic Memorial, Birdwood Avenue Melbourne.
