Widespread flooding in NSW and Queensland

There are fears of deaths, and several towns in northern New South Wales have been declared disaster zones, after heavy rain caused by the remnants of ex-tropical cyclone Debbie. Natural disaster assistance will be available for thoe in the Ballina, Byron, Lismore, Richmond Valley, Tweed, and Kyogle regions, with the Wilsons, Richmond, and Tweed rivers peaking. Ten thousand homes and businesses are without power. Dina Gerolymou and Themis Kallos discuss the story as it unfolds.
