A strong female presence, as well as a surprise face from the world of music, comprises the new government announced yesterday by the elected President of Cyprus, Nicos Christodoulides.

The new President of Cyprus, Nicos Christodoulides, has made good on his commitment to include a significant number of women in the new government.

Mr Christodoulides selected 11 women from a total of 25 people to form the new government, which will officially take office next Wednesday.
