World's top scientists warn of the severe and irreversible impacts of climate change

Australia is facing pressure from the United Nations, scientists and environment groups to ensure the G-20 leaders' summit makes a clear statement on climate action. In a landmark report, the U-N's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says emissions of three key greenhouse gases are at their highest in more than 800-thousand years. The report has also found that burning fossil fuels, such as coal, isn't compatible with tackling climate change.More in this report by Themi Kallos.
