PM Scott Morrison has hit the hustings in Queensland on the fourth day of the election campaign as the coalition battles to hold on to crucial marginal seats.

Scott Morrison has started his day with a focus on jobs, talking up his pledge to create 250,000 jobs for young people.

Labor leader Bill Shorten has pledged to upgrade Concord Hospital as the opposition looks to wrest the seat of Reid away from the Coalition.

Campaigning in the marginal Sydney seat of Reid for the third time in three days, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten said Labor would seek a new health and hospitals funding agreement with premiers and chief ministers to return to a 50-50 split over time.
